John A. Kmiecik, 70, formerly of Wheeling, passed away December 2, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Laura Kmiecik. Loving father of Matt (Katie) Kmiecik and Lindsay (Tom) Nolan. Cherished grandfather of Julia, Gehrig, Nathan, and Erin. Dear brother of Nancy (the late Michael) Lajka and Pat Zwierzyna. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.
John was an avid bowler, NASCAR fan, and loved playing poker, fishing, and golf.
Visitation Wednesday, 3:00 – 9:00 P.M. at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd. at Northwest Highway, Mt. Prospect. Funeral Thursday, 10:00 A.M. also at the Funeral Home.
Interment Town of Maine Cemetery.
